Lauren Kanner, Co-Founder of Square 1, has focused her career on developing strategic marketing plans and campaigns for medical device companies, both big and small.
As a specialist in healthcare marketing for over 25 years, she has branded, positioned, repositioned, launched, and re-launched multiple medical products and services. She has worked for Fortune 100 companies such as Abbott (AMO Division) and start-up companies such as Refractec and IntraLase, so she understands the needs of both types of organizations.
Most importantly, Lauren has an uncanny knack for getting to the heart of the issues to creating award-winning consumer and professional campaigns and programs that immediately and effectively grow same-store and new business. These abilities have been recognized throughout the industry landing Kanner as Medical Marketing Association’s Medical Marketer of the Year.
Les Yates, Technology Director and Partner at Square 1, has over 14 years of creative experience in interactive and motion graphics. He has launched a variety of award-winning projects ranging from full digital strategy campaigns to unique tactics like games and virtual experiences.
His experience in healthcare comes from working on leading medical device brands as well as top pharmaceutical brands in diabetes and hepatitis C. Working closely with these brands, he has been able to find innovative ways to leverage the latest technologies and effectively connect brand communications with their target audiences.
Les has an obsession for ”what’s new” in both the digital and traditional advertising worlds. His passion is what ensures that his clients are in the know of digital possibilities, which ultimately leads to effective and engaging campaigns that have a competitive edge.
